I would like to visit Japan. Why? because it has very exquisite and wonderful landscaping. The population is very interesting, they have a way to be and have relationship with others. They are very empathic -you can see that in the order and cleanliness of the city-.
Something that I like so much is their conection, and respect, for their ancestor and endemic ceremony. In Chile is very difficult to see this fact.
In there I would like to do three simple things: the first, I would like to go to rural area. I like the landscaping`s field of Japan so much. In second place, I would like to visit the city and see all these people and diferent signs; I don`t know why, but it`s too interesting to me the aesthetic of Japan -because it`s too diferent in comparison with the west culture. Finally, I would like to visit the Ghibli Museum. I love this studio.
I would like to study, live and work in that place but, unfortunately, I don`t know the language: it`s too difficult for me.

Welcome
Hello everyone, my name is Juan. I`m a third year Social Work student in FACSO. I`m very happy about my career because through the year I learn very much.
About my weakness, I say I have troubles with the listening exercises. It`s very hard for me to distinguish the different sounds, specially in records.
On the other hand, it`s not difficult for me to have a conversation with other people -but not a too deep conversation.
From this class I hope to learn to listen well, improve in my pronunciation and read very well.

JSTOR, a bibliographic tool
Hello everybody, I`m going to talk about the website JSTOR.
JSTOR is an interesting website, you can find it at https://www.jstor.org/ or http://www.uchile.cl/bibliotecas, click on ~JSTOR~. This platform requires opening an account and, like any student of UChile, I have a kind of "free access", -like all the students of the institution, by the way. In my case, I usually use this way -otherwise, I couldn`t use this platform. I think I use this platform like three or five times a week, and not just for carrer stuff, also for other things.
This website is very useful. In it we can find articles, research and texts in many topics, such as sociology, economy, philosophy, even social work and art. The site want to "help to explore a wide range of scholarly content trough a powerful research and teaching platform". Their main page has a search option where you can find a lot of information sources.
I knew about this site because my girlfriend talk to me about it when I was working in a article in my first or second year of carrer.

A Photograph you like
The people in this pic are two freinds, they names are Alan and Uri (Brandon), from left to right. We are to close, and we know each other many years ago, since high school. On the pic are a cup, it is there just because yes... I really don`t rebember whay is there, actually.
Uri was use giant Mexican hat, and that is very funny. I appear whit black glasses, but it was the one o`clock am. I remember that the weather was very cold, even rained. I don`t remember who taked the pic, but I remember who was there: Javi, Pocoyo, Kako, apart me.
The pic was taken four years ago, in Buin, in the friend`s house, in a party. Buin it's where I was born. Occasionally, I go to visit Buin and see friends, even we meet in Santiago, we visit some bars and public parks. But, at the present I don`t have many time to visits.

A contemporary approach
The Situational Approach is an interesting topic in Social work. It means a way to think about the social relation between the comunity and the State. This means that you make a conversation -not a contract; otherwise, you would go back to use the traditional logics of the area. This dialogue tries to show the issues, complaint, "the society`s legitimate struggle", of a particular community.
We can use differents techniques, like a Biographical Story. This perspective look for a story to tell. This story comes from a person, who has something to tell. This way, the idea is to generate a bond with which you make decisions to solve problems inside the community.
This approach have an ethics implication. The decision making is not "one-sided" -not just from the State-, it is a chance to put together the community`s decision and the state's aid*. In conclusion, the situational Approach is a way to generate a dialogue between the State and the community to make decisions and encourage social relations inside the society.

My favourite piece of technology
One of my favourite piece of technology is my humidifier. I bought it in Aliexpres the last year and I waited like three weeks until I received it. The humidifier converts the water in vapor, so you can use it whit different essential oils, and purified water. As an example, I use it whit eucalyptus-lemon, and lemon lime. Those essential oils help me to decongest my nostrils (hen I fell sick), and to sleep better.
I don´t always use it, only in some occasions. I like to use it when I study at night and when I feel sick or when I´m cold.
I like it because the one I have has lights incorporated and when I turn it on generates a quiet atmosphere, and that make me feel good.
