A Photograph you like

The people in this pic are two freinds, they names are Alan and Uri (Brandon), from left to right. We are to close, and we know each other many years ago, since high school. On the pic are a cup, it is there just because yes... I really don`t rebember whay is there, actually.

Uri was use giant Mexican hat, and that is very funny. I appear whit black glasses, but it was the one o`clock am. I remember that the weather was very cold, even rained. I don`t remember who taked the pic, but I remember who was there: Javi, Pocoyo, Kako, apart me.

The pic was taken four years ago, in Buin, in the friend`s house, in a party. Buin it's where I was born. Occasionally, I go to visit Buin and see friends, even we meet in Santiago, we visit some bars and public parks. But, at the present I don`t have many time to visits.

A contemporary approach

The Situational Approach is an interesting topic in Social work. It means a way to think about the social relation between the comunity and the State. This means that you make a conversation -not a contract; otherwise, you would go back to use the traditional logics of the area. This dialogue tries to show the issues, complaint, "the society`s legitimate struggle", of a particular community.

We can use differents techniques, like a Biographical Story. This perspective look for a story to tell. This story comes from a person, who has something to tell. This way, the idea is to generate a bond with which you make decisions to solve problems inside the community.

This approach have an ethics implication. The decision making is not "one-sided" -not just from the State-, it is a chance to put together the community`s decision and the state's aid*. In conclusion, the situational Approach is a way to generate a dialogue between the State and the community to make decisions and encourage social relations inside the society.

My favourite piece of technology

One of my favourite piece of technology is my humidifier. I bought it in Aliexpres the last year and I waited like three weeks until I received it. The humidifier converts the water in vapor, so you can use it whit different essential oils, and purified water. As an example, I use it whit eucalyptus-lemon, and lemon lime. Those essential oils help me to decongest my nostrils (hen I fell sick), and to sleep better.
I don´t always use it, only in some occasions. I like to use it when I study at night and when I feel sick or when I´m cold.
I like it because the one  I have has lights incorporated and when I turn it on generates a quiet atmosphere, and that make me feel good.
Even though I like it my life wouldn´t change so much whitout it, but I still recommend it.

After that, when I grew up, I liked teaching and architecture, and I thought about tha for a long time. After the graduate from  high school, I applied to architecture and I was a admitted. I was not sure about that, therefore I took a year for think about what carrer choose. After tha I apploed for public administration at the USACH, where I was acccepted. I was there 1 year, I don´t really liked it. In 2016 applied to social work at UCHILE. At presently I´m a social work student, and is my third year.
I chose social work because I believe in the power of the social movements and its impacto on politic.
In a future I would like work in differents areas of social investigation, because I think is necessary collect and build data to have good arguments. Also I would like teach social work, like a teacher.

About me

Hi everyone! I'm going to talk a little about me.

I was born in 1995, in Buin, a little town at the south of Santiago. I'm the third of three brothers. My mother is from Rancagua and my dad from Santiago.

I'm a third year Social Work student at Universidad de Chile, but before that, I was a Public Adminstration student at Universidad de Santiago. On high school I loved music, drawing and spending time whit friends. Then, in elementary school, I liked going out for a walk.

I like to listening to music, reading about philosophy, social history, watching animated short films, 90's tv series and anime. I also like going to museums, parks and eating outside.

So, this is a little about me... Ah! The blog's name is from a game that appears in an anime, that is quite good, I recommend it to you, the name is Hunter x.

xoxo
